Hungarian adjectives for people and weather

Hungarian adjectives stay unchanged before a noun: szürke ház is a grey house and szürke házak grey houses. This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck gathers everyday description words, from colours (szürke, lila) and weather to character (lusta, félénk, okos, türelmes).

Weather adjectives are built from nouns: nap becomes napos (sunny), eső becomes esős (rainy) and felhő becomes felhős (cloudy). Flip the first five cards (grey, everyday, thin, thick, hungry) without registering and hear szürke, vékony and éhes read aloud.
