Advanced adjectives: strong opinions, precise character

When good, bad and nice are no longer enough, this deck is the next step. Part 3 of the Adjectives series (B2–C1) collects English adjectives for saying things firmly — unbearable, humiliating, irresistible — and for describing people: adventurous, cowardly, indifferent. Each has its Hungarian equivalent on the other side (elviselhetetlen, megalázó, ellenállhatatlan…).

Watch the register: formal words like impartial and authoritative sit next to informal, mostly British ones like daft and posh — the first pair belongs in an essay, the second in a chat with friends. The first five cards (adventurous, contradictory, innate, unnatural, unstoppable) can be tried on this page without an account.
