This A0–A1 adverb collection (part 1 of the series) gives you 35 core words that appear in almost every English sentence: not, so, just, more, also, only, then, well, very, too, never, still. With these you can build your first negations, questions and simple statements, and understand the most basic English sentences. The words express place (up, out, over, down, back, through), time (now, first, after, before) and emphasis (really, much, most). This list is for the very first steps of learning English, before you move on to more complex sentences.
