Hungarian for shopping: from the market stall to the checkout

This deck teaches 35 full Hungarian sentences for shops and markets. Each card shows the Hungarian phrase on the front and the English on the back, so you learn to understand what a seller says as well as what to ask. It covers prices (Összesen mennyi lesz? – How much is that altogether?), amounts (Kérek egy liter tejet. – I'd like a liter of milk, please.), clothes shopping and paying.

In Hungarian the noun after a quantity stays singular, and it takes the object ending when you ask for it with Kérek… (I'd like…): egy kiló almát (a kilo of apples). The first five cards – Mennyibe kerül egy kiló sajt? (How much is a kilo of cheese?), Kérek fél kiló paradicsomot. (Half a kilo of tomatoes, please.), Van ebből nagyobb méret? (Do you have this in a bigger size?), Felpróbálhatom ezt? (Can I try this on?) and Hol találom a tejet? (Where can I find the milk?) – can be played without an account, with audio on both sides.
