Clothes in English and Hungarian, with a few British–American traps
From shirt to slippers: this beginner (A0–A1) English–Hungarian deck covers everyday clothes and accessories — shirt, T-shirt, dress, skirt, coat, sock, scarf, glove, belt, pajamas, slipper — with the Hungarian word on the other side (ing, póló, ruha, szoknya, kabát…).
A few words are used differently in British and American English. In this deck pants means underwear, as it does in Britain, whereas in the US it means trousers — and trousers is the deck’s word for those. Pajamas and zipper are the American forms (British: pyjamas and zip). Curious? The first five cards (band, ring, bag, dress, shirt) can be tried here without registering, with pictures and audio.
