Hungarian verbs for things you do with your hands
Hungarian dictionary forms of action verbs usually end in -ni: kapni is to get, adni is to give, vágni is to cut, tolni is to push and húzni is to pull. This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck gathers the everyday movements, from opening (kinyit) and closing (becsukni) to climbing (mászni) and jumping (ugrani).
Some English verbs need a hint, because Hungarian chooses more precisely: wash on the first cards is mosakodni, which means washing yourself. The first five verbs of this deck – get, take, place, give, wash – can be practised without registering, each with its pronunciation in both languages.
