Determiners and pronouns – A0–B2

This deck connects determiners and personal pronouns, at A0-B2 level. You'll learn how to say I, you, he, we or they (I, you, he, we, they), and how to mark whose something is or which thing you mean (my, your, his, her, which). The 31 words include less obvious pairs like both versus neither, or few versus several, giving you more precise ways to express quantity and choice. Fundamental, because almost every English sentence is built on these small words.

Hungarian pronouns and small function words, A0–B2

Small words carry a lot of Hungarian grammar. Hungarian has no gender in the third person, so ő covers both ‘he’ and ‘she’, and the article a becomes az before a vowel. This A0–B2 English–Hungarian deck covers the articles (a, az, egy), the pronouns (én, te, mi, ők, ez) and quantity words (mindkettő, néhány, elég, minden egyes).

Some cards share a meaning, such as néhány for ‘few’ and ‘some’, and a hint explains which English word is meant. The first five cards (the, a, I, you, this) are playable without registering, so you can hear the Hungarian before you commit.

Who it’s for

  • Beginners who want the most frequent Hungarian words from the start.
  • Learners who keep mixing up ő, ők and mi.
  • Teachers who need a quick pronoun drill for a mixed-level group.

What it’s good for

  • People and ownership: én, te, ő, mi, ők, az én, a te.
  • Articles and pointers: a, az, egy, ez, melyik.
  • Quantity: mindkettő, néhány, elég, több, minden egyes.
