Everyday phrases in Hungarian
Hungarian often builds a verb from a prefix and a base: fel- gives felkelni (get up), meg- gives megmosni (wash), be- gives bezárni (close) and ki- gives kivinni (take out). This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck collects the phrases of an ordinary day, from felkelni and reggelizni to aludni menni.
English needs make for the bed, have for the shower and do for the exercises, while Hungarian says beágyazni, zuhanyozni and tornát végezni. You can try the first five cards (get up, go to work, go to school, make the bed, go to bed) without registering.
