Leisure and entertainment words in Hungarian

Many Hungarian leisure words are plain compounds: tengerpart is tenger (sea) plus part (shore), állatkert is állat (animal) plus kert (garden), and fénykép is fény (light) plus kép (picture). This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck pairs them with games, music, sport and places to relax such as park, múzeum and könyvtár.

Words like videó, internet, rádió and televízió will look familiar at once. Start with the first five cards (game, show, team, play, music), which you can try without registering.
