Free time and entertainment in Hungarian
This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck has 35 cards for evenings and weekends: sports such as úszás (swimming), kosárlabda (basketball) and asztalitenisz (table tennis), plus zongora (piano), rajzfilm (cartoon) and múzeum (museum). Many hobby names are nouns made from verbs, like futás (running) and kerékpározás (cycling).
Try the first five cards – picnic, kite, video game, running, movie – without registering. One small trap: Hungarian sárkány means both a kite and a dragon, and foci is the everyday word for football.
