Mammals in Hungarian: from the family dog to the ocean giants
This A0–A2 English–Hungarian deck covers 35 mammals, from pets (kutya is dog, macska is cat, egér is mouse) to forest and savannah animals (farkas, róka, zsiráf, zebra) and sea mammals (fóka, delfin, bálna). The last card is the platypus, kacsacsőrű emlős, literally the duck-billed mammal.
Hungarian has one word, majom, for both monkey and ape, so the ape card carries a small hint on the Hungarian side. Try the first five cards – dog, cat, horse, bear, mouse – without registering, with audio in both languages.
