English prepositions as Hungarian suffixes
Where English puts a word before the noun, Hungarian usually adds a suffix to its end: in the box is a dobozban, on the box is a dobozon, at the door is az ajtónál. This A0–A1 English–Hungarian deck teaches 35 such links, from -ban/-ben (in) and -nál/-nél (at) to the separate words mellett (beside), között (between) and nélkül (without).
The cards use simple diagrams drawn in code, such as a ball and a box, so the relationship is visible before you read the translation. Suffixes also pick their vowel to match the word (-hoz, -hez or -höz for to), and the Hungarian side lists the variants.
