Thought, fact and opinion: abstract nouns in Hungarian
This A1–A2 English–Hungarian deck covers the abstract nouns of thinking: gondolat (thought), tény (fact), bizonyíték (evidence), igazság (truth), vélemény (opinion) and képesség (ability). Hungarian forms abstract nouns with endings such as -ság and -ség: igazság comes from igaz, true, and képesség from képes, able.
The Hungarian word nyom appears more than once, for a lead (vezérfonal) and for a track (lábnyom, keréknyom), and degree means a university diploma. These are short words, so the first five cards (part, thought, system, support, power) are quick to try without registering.
