Hungarian vegetables: from paradicsom to articsóka

This A1 deck teaches 35 Hungarian vegetable names. Every vegetable card puts the Hungarian name on the front and the English on the back, and you can listen to both. It covers everyday produce such as paradicsom (tomato) and burgonya (potato) as well as rarer finds like kelbimbó (Brussels sprout) and mángold (chard).

Handy for the market stall and the recipe alike: hagyma (onion) and fokhagyma (garlic) turn up in almost every Hungarian dish. The first five cards – paradicsom (tomato), uborka (cucumber), sárgarépa (carrot), burgonya (potato), hagyma (onion) – are free to try without registering, with audio.
